SR-71 & A-12 Blackbird Mission

We are going to see every SR-71 and A-12 Blackbird in the United States!



Aprille saw her first Blackbird at the Castle Air Museum, and shouted out "Stealth!" even though she didn't know that it was the world's first aircraft designed for stealth.

There are 24 Blackbirds still existing today, and we're going to see 23 that reside in the United States.  One is in England...we'll have to save that one for later.

A-12 #06931 - NO LONGER On display at the Minnesota Air National Guard Museum, MN.  Moved to CIA HQ, Langley, Va, not visible to the public.

Nebraska:

SR-71A #17964 - On display at the Strategic Air and Space Museum, near Ashland, NE.

New York:

A-12 #06925 - On display at USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in the New York City Harbor.

Ohio:
